You can add payroll accounting as a product option in your bexio account. Go to "Settings" - "Plans, add-ons & users" - "Plan, options and payment method".
You will find the button "Change plans and options" on the bottom left. Please click on it:
Now you can activate payroll accounting, depending on the number of employees working in your company.
After activation you will find payroll accounting in navigation under "Payroll".
As an introduction, you can test payroll accounting free of charge for a one-time, 30-day period. If you do not deactivate this option again, payroll accounting will be automatically charged after the trial period. You will receive an email reminder a few days before the trial period ends.
For existing bexio customers, the price structure of bexio payroll accounting is as follows:
You can generally continue working with your selected package. Payroll accounting is available as an additional option and can be tested free of charge for a one-time, 30-day period.
Payroll accounting will additionally cost as follows:
- Up to 1 employee: CHF 7.00 / month (excl. VAT)
- Up to 5 employees: CHF 22.00 / month (excl. VAT)
- Up to 25 employees: CHF 49.00 / month (excl. VAT)

All bexio users with "superadmin" rights have access to payroll accounting. You can edit the user rights under "Settings" - "Plans, add-ons & users" - "Manage users".
There you will find a "Box" to grant superadmin rights. Do not forget to save the change.
You can also give your accountant these superadmin rights. Proceed as described above:"Settings" - "Plans, add-ons & users" - "Manage accountants".
