What can I do using the "+ More positions" function?

You can use the "+ More positions" interface to add various additional positions to your documents:

Text positions

To add a text position, go to "+ More positions" -> "Text position"

You can now write your text. At the bottom you can decide whether your text position should also be assigned a number by checking the appropriate option. Then save the position.

Time/service

You can import the time/service using "+ More positions" -> "Time/service". You can only import this if you have previously entered chargeable time worked to the client for whom the document is intended. You can find more information on this in the reports "How can I enter new time?" and "How can I invoice services?"

You now receive a list of all times that have been entered for this client, are chargeable and have the status "completed". Select the times you want to import by checking the appropriate option. Click on "+ Add selection".

You receive a new position with the service date and the amount. You can use the pen symbol to edit the position and, for example, add a title or award a discount.

Expenditures

If you have entered expenditures that can be passed on to a client, you can import these directly into a document. Consult the report "How can I invoice services?" for information on this

You now receive a list of all expenditures that have been entered for this client, are chargeable and have the status "completed". Select the items you want to import by checking the appropriate option. Click on "+ Add selection".

You receive a new position with a description of the expenditure and the date. You can also edit this using the pen symbol.

Collective positions

The purpose of collective positions is to group together multiple positions that then have a total amount. To create a collective position, go to "+ More positions" -> "Collective positions".

Here you can give your collective position a name and also write text to accompany it. You also have the option of numbering the collective position and displaying/hiding contributions. You can then save the position.

You can now add the individual positions to your collective position using the plus symbol. You have the same selection as under "+ More positions". Repeat this step for every additional position.

When you have added your positions, you receive a list of all sub-positions. The total of all positions is displayed at the top.

Discount positions

If you want to award a discount on all positions, the best way to do this is using the discount position.

Here you once again receive the text field for entering the title and the position description. You also have the option of either awarding the discount in percent or specifying a fixed amount.

When you have saved your entry, you receive your discount position with the calculated amount

Subtotal

To give you a better overview, you can also insert a subtotal for your documents, for example at the end of a page.

You also have a text field for the subtotal in which you can enter your individual text.

After saving you receive a position that adds up all preceding positions.

PDF page break

To optimize how your documents are displayed, you can insert manual page breaks. If you want the page break within a collective position, you have to create it via the collective position.

The page break is displayed as a position. You can edit it using the pen symbol; this means you can decided whether it should be optional and thus displayed for the optional positions.
