If you send your invoices by e-mail, you can define in advance which payment methods are available.
The instructions below explain how you can link and authorize the service "PayPal".
You need a PayPal account in addition to your bexio account in order to use the payment service "PayPal". If you do not already have one, you can sign up for a new account directly on the PayPal website. You can find the website at https://www.paypal.com
1. Integrate service
Integrating PayPal as a service is easy: First open the payment service under "Settings - All settings - Functions & modules - Payment services". Then click on "Add payment service" and select "PayPal".
Enter the e-mail address of your PayPal account and save it.
The PayPal interface has now been set up.
2. Activate service (existing invoices)
To ensure that PayPal can be used as a payment service in the online view for existing invoices as well (before the interface was activated), you need to activate it for the invoices in question. The service is activated by default for new invoices.
Open the invoice you want and select the tab "Conditions".
Now place a check-mark next to "PayPal" under "Payment services" to activate the service.
If you client now clicks on "Pay now" and "PayPal" within the online document, they will be automatically forwarded to the PayPal page where they can pay the invoice. The invoice will then be automatically set to "Paid" in bexio.
