Order Your Electronic Bank Statement Subscription

In order for Credit Suisse to process transactions in an electronic bank statement, you still need to make an adjustment in your Credit Suisse e-Banking.

Online Banking with Credit Suisse Direct

  1. To do this, go to “Accounts and Cards” in your e-banking account - “Download Infaccount”
  2. Choose “Order subscription”
  3. Order the subscription in MT940 format.

Once the Infaccount subscription has been ordered, you'll be able to select the accounts and we can create the connection. Please note that you can only establish the connection the next day and you must have at least one transaction (credit /debit) in your e-banking.

Connect with E-Banking

First, you will need to create your Credit Suisse bank account. You can then link the bexio bank account to the bank account in your e-banking as follows:

  1. Go to the Banking section and scroll down to your Credit Suisse account
  2. Click on “Connect E-Banking”
  3. Log in with your e-banking user data including the verification method (e.g. Secure Sign)
  4. Link this bank account to your bexio bank account. If you don't want to use a bank account in bexio, you can simply ignore it.
  5. Double-check the "linked" and "ignored" bank accounts

Once this is completed, all available transactions from e-banking will be transferred to bexio. A dialog box will show you how many transactions have been retrieved.

After linking successfully to at least one bank account, the button "Retrieve Transactions" will be displayed instead of the button "Connect E-Banking", which was previously visible.

Note

There is a possibility that the login was completed successfully, yet your transactions are not visible. In this post, you will be able to understand the possible reasons for this: No transactions received.

Retrieve Transactions

  1. Go to the Banking section and scroll down to your Credit Suisse account
  2. Click on the blue “Collect Transactions” button
  3. Log in with your e-banking user data, including the verification method (Secure Sign)
  4. Your transactions will now be loaded into bexio

The transactions will now appear in your banking area automatically and you can perform your reconciliations. You can find out how to reconcile your transactions here.

Note

There is a possibility that the login was completed successfully, yet your transactions are not visible. In this post, you will be able to understand the possible reasons for this: No transactions received.

Submit Payments

Capture payments as described in the "Payments" post, and submit these to your bank via one click.

Depending on your banking and e-banking contracts, it may be necessary for you to additionally target and approve payments in e-banking. Please contact your bank's support service directly for more information.

Important!

Note that you cannot submit payment orders until you have successfully received transactions from your bank account, at least once. Additionally, refer to the  “Retrieve Transactions” section.

Uploading ESR Credits

To reconcile your ESR credits (customer payments with an orange payment slip), we recommend that you continue to work with the v11 file.

The reason for this is the following: On the one hand, due to the bank's technical restrictions, we cannot ensure that all payments are transmitted in full, which make it possible for you to reconcile them when synchronizing bank transactions. On the other hand, the import process for the ISO 20022 format "camt.054" for credit and debit notes is not yet optimized for Credit Suisse and is currently still causing problems.

Important!

If you use the V11 import, individual ESR credits and/or aggregated ESR credits must be ignored in the Banking section. If these transactions are reconciled, it will result in incorrect customer credit balances or customer transactions and/or lead to duplicate entries.

Supported Login Methods

bexio currently supports the Photo-TAN (Secure Sign) method for Credit Suisse banking. More about the various login methods can be found in this post: Supported Login Methods.

Import Transactions Manually

In the event of a malfunction, you can import your banking transactions into your bexio banking manually. The best way to do this is to proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to your e-banking
  2. Go to “Accounts and Cards” - “Download Infaccount”
  3. Click on the account your bank account number

You will then receive a list of all MT940 documents which have not yet been retrieved. These will contain the file extension “.STA” and can be downloaded by clicking on its name.

You can now import the downloaded document into your bexio banking by clicking on “Import bank transactions”.

Security

As a rule, bexio doesn't store any login information, such as contract numbers, passwords, or tokens. bexio will never ask for your e-banking credentials in writing, or via phone. Please don't ever share this confidential information with third parties.
