What do I need to know about bexio subscription fees?

You can pay your bexio subscription fees on either a yearly or a monthly basis. Simply select the payment method which suits you best.

Where do I select the payment method?

You can choose whether you would prefer to be invoiced on a yearly or a monthly basis by navigating to "Settings" - "Packages / Add-ons / User" - "Payment method and Packages".

How and when do I get an invoice?

Your invoices will be sent to you automatically, by e-mail. If you change your invoicing method to yearly payment, the invoice will be sent in 1 or 2 working days. If you choose yearly payment, you pay for 12 months in advance, thus reducing administrative effort.

If you choose monthly payment, you will receive an invoice at the beginning of every month, for the services of the previous month.

How do I pay the invoice?

You can pay invoices by means of PayPal, Stripe or bank transfer (orange ESR payment slip).

As soon as you open the link on the invoice, you will see the option to pay the invoice in the top right-hand corner and will be provided with all the necessary information.

The deadline for both payment types is 14 days.

Can I make adjustments to my package if I choose the yearly payment method?

Yes, you can make adjustments whenever you like if you pay yearly. If you upgrade (extend) your package, book an additional license or order a chargeable add-on, the adjustment is effective immediately and you will receive an invoice for the extra subscription fees a few days later, pro rata for the remaining period of the original package.

If you downgrade (reduce) your package, delete a user license or cancel a paid add-on, the reduction in fees only becomes effective after the remaining period of the original package has expired, until which time the cancelled services / user accounts can still be used.

Can I make adjustments to my package if I choose the monthly payment method?

Yes, you can make adjustments whenever you like. If you upgrade (extend) your package, book an additional license or order a chargeable add-on, the adjustment is effective immediately. You will be charged for these additional services in the following monthly invoice.

If you downgrade (reduce) a package, delete a user license or cancel a paid add-on, this constitutes a so-called notice of amendment. The notice period begins at the end of the current month and the adjustment becomes effective at the end of the following month, until which time the cancelled services / user accounts can still be used.

What happens when my yearly subscription expires?

Your subscription will be renewed automatically and you will receive your new yearly invoice by e-mail, as usual.

How much notice do I have to give to cancel my subscription?

If you have chosen the monthly payment method, you can cancel your subscription at the end of the month and the cancellation will be effective at the end of the following month.

If you have chosen the monthly payment method, you can cancel your subscription at the end of your yearly subscription period and the cancellation will be effective at the end of the 30-day notice period.
