Prepare your TKB account for bexio

You do not have to change any settings or perform any special preparations in order to link your TKB account to bexio. Please note that we can only link these accounts if you have at least one transfer/transaction in e-banking.

Link e-banking

First you need to create your TKB bank account. You can then link your bexio bank account to your bank account in e-banking as follows:

  1. Go to the Banking section and scroll down to your TKB account
  2. Click on "Link e-banking"
  3. You will see a dialog telling you that you will now be forwarded to the TKB e-banking interface. Click on "Go to TKB" to continue.
  4. Log in with your e-banking user data, including the verification method.
  5. Allow bexio to access your banking data by clicking "Confirm".
  6. Link your bank account to your existing bexio bank account or to a new bexio bank account. Bank accounts that you do not want to use in bexio can be discarded using the "Ignore this bank account in bexio" option. It is important that you either link all bank accounts to a bexio bank account or explicitly ignore them.

Finally, all available transactions from e-banking will be imported into bexio. A dialog will show you how many transactions have been imported.

After you successfully link at least one bank account, the "Import transactions" button is displayed instead of the previously visible "Link e-banking" button.

It is possible that the login was successful, but there are no visible transactions. This article explains the possible reasons for why this may be the case: No transactions received.

Importing transactions

Your TKB bank account is synchronized automatically every night. If you want to start the synchronization yourself, you can do this manually by clicking "Import transactions" in the "Banking" area.

In order to avoid importing all of the transactions from your bank account from previous years into bexio, we recommend that you set all transactions in TKB to already “read” before the initial connection. You can do this by going to “Download data” in your TKB account. Select all of the unread files there and click “Download”.

Transfer payments

Enter payments as described in the Entering payments article and transfer them to your bank with one click.

At TKB, payments transmitted to your e-banking must also be signed. You will find the transmitted payments within OLIVIA. under "Payments" - "Release payments".

For more information on these settings, you should contact your customer support advisor directly or get in touch with the TKB e-banking support team.

Supported login methods:

bexio currently supports the M-TAN method for TKB banking. You can learn more about the different login methods in this article: Supported login methods.

How do I dissociate my TKB accounts in bexio?

You can manually dissociate your linked e-banking by clicking on the "three dots" next to the "Import transactions" blue button.

A dialog opens asking you to confirm whether you wish to dissociate bexio from e-banking.

Transactions that have already been imported will still be visible in bexio. You can also relink the accounts at any time. You can find out how to do this under Link e-banking.

bexio generally does not save any login information, such as contract numbers, passwords or tokens. bexio will not ask you for your e-banking login credentials either in writing or by phone. Please never share this confidential data with third parties.
