Download bank statements manually out of your E-Banking

Overview of Banks

In this article, we will explain to you where you can find your statements of account in your e-banking and how you can download them. Only examples of banks that do maintain an interface are listed.

Which bank uses which file format?

To make it possible for you to manually upload statements of accounts or credit/debit notes into bexio, you must download the electronic statement of account or ESR credit notes from your e-banking. Depending on the bank, you either need:

  • A camt.053 or an MT940 file for the statement of account
  • A camt.054 file for ESR credit notes

We have optimized the import for the following file formats for the following banks:

Bank Statements of account ESR
Credit Suisse MT940 camt.054 (ESR)
Postfinance camt.053 Version 4
with/or without details, without receipts
camt.054 (ESR)
Raiffeisen MT940 camt.054 (ESR)
St. Galler Kantonalbank (SGKB) camt.053 Version 2 & 4
(MT940 not supported)
camt.054 (ESR)
Thurgauer Kantonalbank (TKB) camt.053 Version 2 & 4
(MT940 not supported)
camt.054 (ESR)
UBS MT940
(manual import possible only if no link to e-banking exists)
camt.054 (ESR)
Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) camt.053 with details camt.054 (ESR)

As far as all other banks are concerned, we cannot guarantee this; however, you are encouraged to attempt manual imports.

If you should encounter problems downloading the file, please contact your bank's support directly.
